4-6 months ago I was working with Best Buy and was starting to notice major changes in the company and one big thing was pay. I was there for two years and was making the same as new hires but I knew everything a supervisor knew. I basically demanded a raise and they could only go up to $16 an hour (from $15). After that I immediately started looking for a new job, It’s for a company called Luepold and Stevens. I started working there in August. It was Temp to hire, but I was starting at $17 an hour.

I brought up everything they told me I needed to do and my Manager said he 100% agrees that I deserve a raise. Well, today HR approved my manager’s request for $18.50!

If I did not listen to your podcast about how to go about asking I probably would still be at Best Buy. This has opened up so much to me. My side hustles are food delivery, and I like to donate plasma. My monthly income 6 months ago was $1200 – $1400. Now with everything, I can do, I make $3000 – $3400! Its almost doubled!!!
